Doctor came in, I started explaining what was wrong, his phone rang mid-sentence, and I waited another 30 minutes for him to come back. No explanation or apology was offered.
Local friends, I want to give you a heads up: When My son broke his ankle on Memorial Day, the only place (besides the ER) that was able to X-Ray was MedExpress. Do NOT give them your debit card # to put "On File". Without our permission, or prior notification, they took $123 out of our checking account yesterday. I was in their office at 8:30 this morning. They told me that they could not void the transaction. I was still not feeling comfortable with the entire situation, and called their billing department. I was polite, but I told them that I thought their billing practices were deceptive and that if we could not resolve the issue, I would file a complaint with the Attorney General's office. Miraculously, at that point, they were able to give me a refund. They said it would take 3-5 days to process. They won't tell you it is an automatic payment program, they will tell you that they want to put your "Card on File." Don't make the same mistake we did.
If I could give no star I would. went in with what they think is a DVT or PE, took my money. told me I need an ultrasound but could nit offer any help, not even blood work. rather told me to go home they would refer me to a physician next week. thought that was an emergent situation but obviously not. they not ready to help but just need your money.
My daughter and I had a wonderful experience at the Bridgeport location today! The medical assistant Tisha is wonderful with kids! We felt so welcomed by her and she got my daughter to take a thermometer under her tongue. Amazing!! We felt very comfortable with her while waiting for the dr
Very friendly staff..intake staff had to reprimand a few young kids who thought the waiting room was the perfect place to scream at the top of their lungs n run stomping from one side to the other while mom was too busy with her face in her phone to notice. But staff handled it wonderfully and it was greatly appreciated by those of us that felt like we'd been hit by a bus. Doctor and nurses were all very thorough, and actually listened to what I had to say and took the time to have both of my kids (the actual patients) detail their symptoms. It's very nice to have found a place that doesnt have a prescription for a penicillin waiting on you before they know your name and seems to really care about each patient as an individual. Hope that I don't have to see them for a long long time but I know where I will be going if needed.
