Amazing an clean only 24 hr one in area
Today (Feb. 12, 2016) at 7:30am the dryers had malfunctioned (weren't heating up) due to an issue the day before with a construction project (going on behind the building), severing water lines and electricity to the laundry mat. I called the owner and he drove down right then from Fairmont to take care of it, and refunded my money on the spot. That's customer service! When I left at 8am all the equipment was up and running again.
Slight edit- Gave them an extra star for the driers, they are impressively fast.
The washers are $5 for a short wash, but do not fully spin out. Our clothes were dripping wet..then put them in a dryer on the HOT setting, which barely got warm, switched dryers and 1hr later, the clothes were still not dry. 25 cents for every 5 minutes, you're making a killing on these lame machines. Won't be returning here.
I've used this facility for quite some time, have rarely ever had issues with the machines and cleanliness - when I did and called the custodian and/or owner, they were there quickly and took care of any problems right away.
and the machines are nice and appear to be new. But the smallest machines they have appear to be double loaders and it's $3.00 to run a wash cycle on cold. If you are the extravagant type and like to use warm water you'll pony up another $.50 for such unbridled consumption. All that being said, it is the only game in town as far as I can tell. So have fun getting hosed while you wash.
