They are scammers. If you have a medicaid card they will bill for services you didn't receive and will put silver caps on your children's teeth. While putting myself through Graduate School, my children received a medical card. My poor son has a mouth full of silver caps from going there. Now, I have a job with dental insurance and my current dentist was dismayed at the over use of crowns in my 8 yr olds mouth. Not too long ago, they were under investigation for insurance fraud. Not only is their Bridgeport office outdated but they proudly display pictures from where the staff take vacations to exotic locations.
For all the money they spend in advertising as seen in local media, it's surprising to see so little invested in the Bridgeport offices. My family got the pleasure of spitting into the old-fashioned ceramic sinks (no suction), waiting for film x-rays to be developed (no digital), and they left our teenage daughter alone in one of their little rooms for nearly half an hour with no explanation. The staff were pleasant enough to me, but even after explaining my wife's dental phobia, well-earned from past experience, to her they were dismissive and condescending. If you're content with old-fashioned dental technology and minimal customer service, give em a try. We're looking elsewhere.
